Terms & Conditions
Overview
The following Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to all employees, including management, office staff, kitchen staff, and any other stakeholders associated with GRABS Kitchen Pvt. Ltd.. By accepting the offer of employment or entering into an agreement with GRABS Kitchen Pvt. Ltd., you agree to abide by the following policies. Please review these terms carefully.
General Employment Policies
- Employment Relationship: Employment with GRABS Kitchen Pvt. Ltd. is considered at-will, meaning either the employee or the company can terminate the employment at any time with or without cause, subject to the terms outlined in this agreement.
- Employment Categories: Employees are categorized as full-time, part-time, contractual, or intern based on their role and nature of employment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Payment: Salaries will be disbursed on a monthly basis, with the first salary being paid on the 15th of the next month following your joining. All future salaries will be paid on the 1st of each month.
- Salary Increments: Employees will be eligible for salary increments after 6 months of employment, subject to performance evaluations.
- Notice Period: A 30-day notice period is required for resignations from any position.
- Early Resignation: Employees who leave the company within the first 30 days will not receive any salary for the notice period or the days worked.
- Absenteeism: Any employee absent for 3 consecutive days without prior intimation will be considered as absconding from work and will not be eligible for salary payment for those days.
Workplace Conduct & Responsibilities
- Code of Conduct: All employees are expected to maintain professionalism, adhere to company policies, and promote a positive work environment. Employees must conduct themselves with integrity, respect, and honesty in all dealings within and outside the company.
- Confidentiality: Employees must maintain confidentiality regarding the company’s proprietary information, trade secrets, and client data. Unauthorized sharing of this information will result in disciplinary action.
- Anti-Discrimination & Harassment: We are committed to providing a work environment free from discrimination, harassment, or any other form of unethical conduct. All employees are expected to treat each other with respect and dignity.
Office Staff Policies
- Work Hours: Office staff will adhere to the designated work schedule of 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. Any changes in work hours must be approved by the management.
- Punctuality: Employees are expected to be punctual. Repeated tardiness may lead to disciplinary action.
- Leave Policy:
- Employees are entitled to annual leave as per company policy, to be approved by their supervisor.
- Sick leave and other emergency leave must be reported to HR and supervisor promptly.
- Performance Reviews: Office staff will undergo regular performance reviews to ensure alignment with company objectives and growth. Based on these reviews, salary adjustments or role advancements may be offered.
Kitchen Staff Policies
- Following SOPs: Kitchen staff are expected to adhere strictly to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and overall kitchen operations to ensure consistency and quality.
- Kitchen Cleanliness & Hygiene: Kitchen staff are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This includes ensuring tools, equipment, and work surfaces are sanitized, and food safety protocols are followed.
- Kitchen Preparation Time (KPT): Kitchen staff must identify and implement strategies to reduce Kitchen Preparation Time (KPT) and improve overall kitchen efficiency.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Kitchen staff are responsible for daily inventory checks to ensure all kitchen supplies and ingredients are available and stored correctly. Any discrepancies must be reported immediately.
- Safety & Conduct in the Kitchen: Kitchen staff must adhere to all health and safety guidelines, using kitchen equipment properly and maintaining a safe working environment. Employees are also expected to follow all rules regarding the proper handling of food, including storage and waste management.
Management Policies
1.Leadership & Oversight: Managers are responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring policies are followed, and maintaining high levels of productivity and staff morale. Managers should provide guidance and support to their teams and resolve any workplace issues in a timely and professional manner.
2. Decision Making & Reporting: Managers must ensure that all key decisions align with company goals. They must also provide timely reports and updates to the senior leadership team, as required.
3. Conflict Resolution: Management is responsible for addressing any conflicts between employees, ensuring fair treatment for all and maintaining a respectful workplace.
Employee Conduct & Performance
- Work Ethics: Employees are expected to demonstrate strong work ethics, punctuality, professionalism, and a collaborative attitude. Performance reviews will be conducted periodically to evaluate contributions and development.
- Disciplinary Actions: Any violation of company policies or misconduct will result in disciplinary actions, which may include warnings, suspension, or termination, depending on the severity of the infraction.
Policy Amendments
GRABS Kitchen Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and policies at its discretion. Employees will be notified of any changes, and updated policies will be available on the company’s internal portal or website for reference.
